The Badges are in and they look GREAT!

The logo that received the most votes to represent the SGET has been made into the badge that all classes will be awarded when they pass inspection.

How does a class pass inspection?

The class must have all the appropriate equipment:

• 1 garbage bin
• 1 blue (or green) recycling bin with a green label for paper
• 1 blue recycling bin with a blue label for cans & bottles (optional)
• a sign indicating the recycling area
• a scrap paper collection area
• an area for reusable water bottles
• microfiber cloths

Garbage and recyclable materials must be in the appropriate bin:

• In the PAPER RECYCLING BIN -
  

YES - ALL PAPER (cardboard, paper with paint or tape on it, paperback books, etc.)
NO - tissues, napkins, wipes, paper plates, paper towels

• In the BOTTLES & CANS RECYCLING BIN -

YES - ONLY PLASTIC BOTTLES with a mouth smaller than the base, juice & milk boxes, aluminum foil, soda cans, and all glass
NO - yogurt containers, plastic take out containers, Ziplock bags, bottle caps, straws
